New Ward

Our ward was split today. The new ward is called the Deerfield Ward and takes in the part of Main Street from 200 North to Strong Lane and the Cemetery road and all the area west of Main Street. Bishop Doman is still their bishop, with Jeff Pierson and Chris Worsley as the counselors. They will still go to the Temple View Building at the same time.

We are in the Alpine First Ward, which now starts at Strong Lane and the Cemetery road and goes north. We also will now have Patterson Lane in our ward. Grant Beckwith is our new bishop, Greg Bertola and Forrest Bennett are the counselors. We will be going to the Fort Canyon Building, but, the singles ward is still there for another week, so we will have Sacrament Meeting only at 4:30 next Sunday. The next week is Stake Conference. On that day the singles in our area will meet in the Alpine Tabernacle so they can be organized into a Singles Stake. They will then meet in the Red Brick Building and we will take their 1pm time in the Fort Canyon Building. Who knows what our callings will be by then. We lost half of our Nursery kids.
