This morning I decided I wanted some fresh tomatoes with my breakfast, so I went downstairs to the garage, picked a couple off the vine, came up and washed them, cut them, and ate them.
What? you say? Fresh tomatoes off the vine from the garage in November in Utah?
Yup! Don read somewhere that if you hang the vines with green tomatoes upside down, the tomatoes will ripen. So he tried it.
He came up with a new use for the kayaks hanging from the ceiling in our garage...
And it worked! Red and yellow tomatoes, fresh off the vine, in the middle of November in Utah.
